fun fact: if you lie around in your room all day, you’ve technically moved further than someone who ran a marathon from east to west in the same time, relative to the centre of the earth.
unfortunately, fitness apps don’t seem to understand this for some strange reason.
narration: all velocity is relative. for example, right now you are flying through space at 30 kilometres per second relative to the sun.
narration: relative to the centre of the milky way galaxy, you are moving at 220km/s.
narration: relative to the cosmic microwave background, you are moving at 370km/s.
sedna’s dad: sedna, go get some exercise! you haven’t moved an inch all day!
sedna: only relative to you!

after seeing all the SI based metric units as labels i’m shocked how Sedna didn’t yell off his father to saying INCH instead of centimetre xD
also, do we know dad’s name? :o i remember it was not written on the “who is” comic, and not here either. Thomas, you can’t keep this information hidden!
