After dreading it for so long, for this comic I finally had to teach myself how to draw cars. It turned out to be pretty simple.
Step 1: Find a picture of a car.
Step 2: Trace it.
Step 3: Draw the rest of the frame in the same perspective as the car.
Trying a slightly different art style here. I’ve started using a more textured brush to hopefully make everything look a bit less flat. Hope you guys like it (if you even noticed). Tell me what you think. 🙂
It’s kinda’ silly that you fell asleep on a telescope when there’s a perfectly soft bunny like, right there!
Some people have teddy bears…
While drawing this strip I realised the characters’ heads are so large, I had to stretch Sedna’s body so that she could actually reach over Dini’s head without standing up (fortunately the hair obscures this, so it’s hard to tell)… and even that wasn’t enough, so I made Dini look upwards a little.
Mini story arc! Starring: the only thing that can get Sedna to wake up early.
Hurray! Comic number 50! Halfway to an actual milestone! What better way to celebrate than with a BIG REVEAL that literally everyone saw coming? In fact, I’d like to apologise to everyone for pretending there was any mystery at all, it was pretty obvious who Sedna liked.
And… now I need to start thinking of something for comic #100.
I think I’m trying to tell myself something here…
In other news, did everyone see the supermoon, and how was it? I’m asking because last night was completely overcast in Sydney and I couldn’t see a thing. 🙁
Talking about space > sleep.
